At Pits & Pals K9 Rescue, we believe that every dog deserves a loving home. We are thrilled to share the happy tails of our rescued dogs who have found their forever homes. Pumpkin (now Bella)
Meet Bella, formerly known as Pumpkin, who has found her forever home today, October 30, 2024! She now shares her life with a loving doggie brother named Ori (see Scrappy below), and together they spend their days playing and napping. Ori's family has noticed a wonderful change in him; he's so much happier with Bella as his playmate. From the Stanislaus Shelter to her cozy home in Sacramento, Bella is now surrounded by love and care!
Millie
Welcome to Millie’s new life! On October 21, 2024, she was warmly embraced by her loving family and has already made a special bond with her new sister, Penny. From her beginnings with a backyard breeder to exploring the stunning mountains of Oregon, Dixie is now living her best life filled with adventures and hikes alongside her family. We’re excited to follow along on her journey!
Faith & Holly
🐾 Faith and Holly got adopted! 🐾🎉 On July 21, 2024, these inseparable twins have found their forever home together! They will be joining big brother Bear, along with two cute kitties, Bella and Stitch. Not only do they have a loving family, but they also have a new little girl to play with endlessly! 🥰
Although we typically don’t place littermates in the same household, we couldn’t bear to separate these two sweet girls. They have been by each other’s side since birth, sharing everything from crates to adventures. They have their own unique personalities and thrive both together and apart. The family is prepared to handle any challenges that may arise, but we have faith that these sisters will continue to bring joy and love to their new home.
We wish Faith, Holly & their new family all of the love and a lifetime of happy tails! 🐾
Scrappy (now Ori)
After his owner tied him to a fence and walked away 💔, a Good Samaritan brought Scrappy straight to Pits & Pals K9 Rescue for help.
Scrappy took to crate and house training very quickly. He’s a social dog who gets along with all dogs, big and small, but he was leary of humans, so we knew we needed to be thoughtful with the right foster.
An amazing human stepped up and after a month of fostering, they knew Scrappy was perfect for their family. They wasted no time in applying to adopt him. As of July 24, 2024, we present to you, Ori (short for Oreo). He is living his best life. We wish him and his new family Happy Tails!
Bartok (now Crosby)
Welcome to the wonderful world of Crosby! Since joining his new family on June 1, 2024, he has been showered with love and affection. Whether it’s splashing around in his own pool or enjoying playtime at the Pits & Pals K9 Rescue play groups, Crosby is thriving and growing every day. We couldn’t be happier for him and his amazing journey!
