Meet Scrappy, Your Future Best Buddy!

Scrappy is a Chihuahua mix and about 8 months old. He’s a tiny guy at about 17 pounds. He was found tied to a pole and abandoned by his person since their encampment was torn down by authorities.

We had him neutered, microchipped and he just received another round of vaccinations. He is now ready to find his forever home!

I love...

to play and snuggle with my person. I can be a little scared when I first meet a new human but I loves all dogs, big and small!

My perfect day...

Lounging in the sun, enjoying meals and snacks, taking short walks, and cuddling on the couch watching TV.*

Things to know about me...

I am the funniest little guy with a big personality.

I am crate trained and housed trained. I also walk nicely on a leash. I get along with all dogs!

My history..

This poor boy was first seen when his owner was tying to him to a fence and walking away. When confronted about abandoning Scrappy, the man said they were kicked out of their encampment so he couldn’t keep him anymore. A Good Samaritan stepped in and saved him. She brought him to us.

Scrappy has already come out of his shell so much since he first came to us but he still has that typical little dog “stranger danger” attitude when he meets new people.
