Trixie is an approximately 4 year old Pit Bull mix with a stunning blue coat and an even sweeter soul. At around 50 pounds, she is the perfect size for just about anything. She is always up for an adventure, but she is just as happy curling up beside you for a cozy evening at home.
Jasper is an approximately 10 to 12 month old Boxer and Pit Bull mix whose life almost ended before it had the chance to begin.
Just one day before Jasper was rescued, our team fought tirelessly to save another young dog named Butters. Despite an approved adopter, countless phone calls, and every effort to save him, Butters was euthanized before he ever got the chance he deserved. We promised his life would not be forgotten.
The very next day, Jasper landed on the euthanasia list. He had never tested positive for parvo or even been housed near an infected dog, yet he was scheduled to lose his life because of indirect exposure.
We refused to let history repeat itself.
An incredible local foster stepped up without hesitation, and with the help of dedicated advocates and volunteers, Jasper was safely pulled from the shelter just in time.
Now this sweet, goofy puppy is getting the fresh start he always deserved. As of July 5, 2026, Jasper is on a medical hold while he completes his veterinary care before beginning his search for the perfect forever family.
Jasper was saved in honor of Butters, and every wag of his tail is a reminder of why we never stop fighting.
