Georgina is an approximately 2 to 3 year old Bulldog mix with a heart full of love and just the right amount of sass. At around 40 pounds, she's still working on gaining back the weight she lost, and she's making wonderful progress every day.

Her journey to Pits & Pals began because of an unhoused man who found her suffering on the streets and refused to leave her behind. Even though he had very little himself, he did everything he could to keep her safe until she could receive the care she desperately needed.

When Georgina came into our care, she was severely underweight with wounds along one side of her body that were consistent with significant trauma. She also has what appear to be scars from a previous cesarean section, suggesting she has endured more than any dog ever should.

Despite everything she's been through, Georgina is incredibly sweet. She is potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly, and has a playful, sassy personality that's beginning to shine as she learns she's finally safe. While she's still coming out of her shell after such a difficult start in life, it's been a joy watching her confidence grow a little more each day.

Georgina is currently on medical hold while she continues to heal and receive veterinary care in her foster home. We can't wait for the day she's healthy enough to begin searching for the forever family she's always deserved.
