Hi, I’m Luna!
Meet Luna 💜
Some dogs find a forever home. Others become forever family.
Luna has been with us for the past two years after being rescued on what was meant to be her final day. We always believed her perfect family was out there waiting, but as time went on, it became clear that Luna had already found exactly where she belonged.
Recently, Luna was diagnosed with advanced large cell lymphoma. While her diagnosis has changed the path ahead, it has not changed our commitment to her. Luna has officially entered hospice care and will remain with us, surrounded by the people who have loved her every step of the way.
No one has been more devoted to Luna than her incredible foster, Maddy. From the day Luna came into her home, Maddy has loved her with unwavering patience, compassion, and dedication. She has celebrated every milestone, comforted every hard day, and shown Luna what it means to be truly cherished. Their bond is something special, and because of Maddy's selfless love, Luna has never had to wonder if she belongs. We are endlessly grateful that Luna has someone so deeply committed to walking beside her through every chapter, including this one.
Our promise to Luna is simple: she will never face another day alone. She will receive every medical treatment, medication, and comfort measure needed to keep her happy and pain-free for as long as possible. Every day she has left will be filled with love, adventure, soft beds, favorite treats, belly rubs, sunshine, and all the little things that make her happiest.
We're also creating a special bucket list for Luna, filled with all the experiences she's never had the chance to enjoy. Whether it's pup cups, cheeseburgers, beach days, new hiking trails, cozy nights on the couch, or simply soaking up the sunshine with the people who love her, we're determined to make every moment count and celebrate the beautiful soul she is.
While Luna is no longer available for adoption, her story is far from over. We invite you to follow along as she checks off her bucket list and continues to remind us that love isn't measured by time—it's measured by the promise to never give up on someone who needs you.
Luna has always been family. She always will be.
